Katz’s Deli and Bar is going 24-hours-a-day at its Woodlands location, as the Houston-based company is in expansion mode.
Katz’s Woodlands restaurant, previously branded as an “Express” location with set business hours, is becoming a ’round-the-clock Katz’s Deli and Bar starting May 12. The company also operates a 24-hour operation at 616 Westheimer Road in Montrose.
The Woodlands location, at 19075 I-45 North in the Portofino Shopping Center, will now offer beer and wine. That location also is getting a new menu featuring Texas pecan hummus with whipped feta dip and served with bagel chips, as well as chicken and waffles for breakfast, New York-style oversized sandwiches and a cheesecake milk shake.
Meanwhile, Katz’s plans to expand by at least three delis in Houston but hasn’t signed any leases, owner Barry Katz told the Houston Business Journal. The company is targeting Katy, Sugar Land and a location west of the Galleria.
